Heritage Writing Lines is delighted to present a Creative Nature Writing Workshop set within the beautiful surroundings of Haddon Medieval Park, led by Maggie Langford and Lucy Marsh.
With extensive experience as published writers and teachers, Maggie and Lucy bring a thoughtful and supportive approach to guiding writers of all levels.
The day begins with a gentle walk through the peaceful landscape of the park, offering time and space to observe and gather inspiration from its ancient surroundings. Drawing on connections between nature, history, place and memory, you will explore a range of creative forms, including haiku, poetry and prose.
In the afternoon, the workshop continues in the Tudor Stables Studio, where Maggie and Lucy will guide you in refining your ideas and developing your own piece of writing in a relaxed and encouraging environment.
This workshop is suitable for adults (18+), and no previous writing experience is required. All materials are provided. Please note that the session includes a short walk over uneven ground, so a reasonable level of mobility is needed.
Admission to Haddon Hall is not included in the ticket price.
Please note that tickets are non-refundable.
